Breakfast will be held at Maple Street Biscuit Company\, located at 50 Canton Street in Alpharetta.  But don’t wait too late to show up – – – 10 a.m. is the stop time.\nHowever\, knowing Melissa\, if your are standing in line at 10 a.m. she will make sure you’re served. To-go orders and curbside pickup are also available. No RSVP’s are needed. Just show up and enjoy the morning.  \nMelissa hosts this annual breakfast “to honor the many who served\,” but there is a special place in her heart for her grandfather\, retired Lt. Col. A. E. Peterson. He was a member of the U.S. Army Air Corp who flew B-17’s and B-24’s out of England during World War II. During the Korean War he was based in Japan\, flying B-29’s over Korea. He retired from the USAF just prior to the beginning of the Vietnam Conflict.

DESCRIPTION:Alpharetta\, Milton and Roswell will hold Memorial Day Events and Post Clubroom/Bar Opens at 1 p.m. \nAlpharetta – – The City and the Rotary Club of Alpharetta will host a Memorial Day Tribute starting at 9:30 a.m. at Alpharetta City Hall\, 2 Park Plaza. American Legion Post 201 will be represented again this year by Marty Ferrell\, who has been a program participant and Post representative at this event since 2016. Music will be provided by the Alpharetta City Band. \nAt the end of the day the Alpharetta Symphony Orchestra along with Takosha Swan\, the founder of The Veteran Anthem\, will present a free Memorial Day concert starting at 7 p.m. at Brooke Street Park\, 2 Park Plaza\, \nMilton – – The City’s annual ceremony starts at 10 a.m. at The Green at Crabapple Market\, 12650 Crabapple Rd. This past weekend\, volunteers from the Milton Veterans Memorial Markers installed 823 remembrance markers throughout downtown Crabapple and in the Georgia Highway 9 /Webb Road area. Each marker honors a late veteran with a Milton connection. Some date back to the Revolutionary War. Others have ties to more recent conflict. \nTo look at the names of those honored and find the location of a specific marker\, go to https://miltonveterans.org/findamarker/. \nRoswell – – For the past 23 years\, area residents have joined the Rotary Club of Roswell and the City of Roswell to honor the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of the U.S.A. This year’s ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Roswell City Hall\, 38 Hill Street. The grounds will open at 10 a.m. with displays and music. Following the ceremony\, food trucks from Tres Jardines\, Eggroll Boyz\, and Patty Wagon will on the grounds selling food to attendees. \nIt should be noted that all three morning ceremonies are scheduled to end with sufficient time for members of the Post family attend a ceremony and then drop by the clubroom/bar which will open at 1 p.m. on Monday.\n~ ~ ~
