DESCRIPTION:Women’s Vet Day Ceremony. Johns Creek Veterans Association invites  all JCVA members\, Georgia Military Women\, families\, guests\, Johns Creek Mayor\, city officials and public to the 4th Annual JCVA Women’s Vet Day Ceremony. This event will be held on Saturday June 15\, 2024 at 10 AM at 3150 Old Alabama Rd\, Johns Creek\, GA. 30022 to celebrate our Women Veterans. Ceremony will take place in Newtown Park at the Veterans Memorial Park/Walk at the Women’s Service Plaza across from the gazebo. \nEmcee of the Women’s Vet Day Ceremony will be Lt Col Janice Hiers\, USAF Nurse Corp ( Ret)\, JCVA  member.\nKeynote Speaker will be the founder of The She Served Initiative\, MSgt Martina Schmidt USAF (Ret).\nThe laying of the wreath ceremony will be performed by Charlotte Whitaker 1st SG/Drill SG\, US Army (Ret)\, Sabrina Bradley LTC US Army (Ret) and Melissa Deane SSgt US Army (Ret).\nAlso presenting: JCVA Color Guard\, JCVA President Michael Mizell LTC US Army MP Corps (Ret)\, Roger Wise SSgt US Army Veteran presentation of ” Freedom Is Not Free\,”\nPledge by Mary Ann Jones 1LT US Army Veteran Nurse Corp\, Dick Holcomb US Navy Veteran and VP of The Memorial Walk\nPresentation of the pavers by Jacqueline Isabell LTC US Army (Ret)\nClosing Remarks by LT Joanne Melear US Navy Nurse Corp VietNam Era Veteran.\nPatriotic Singer Danaye Martin.\nActing Chaplains LeVeda Kendrix SSgt USMC (Ret) and CAPT Jeannie Comlish  US Navy ( Ret).
